Skylanders is one of the most popular kids' games in the world, and has recently achieved the title of best-selling kids' game of the year. To celebrate the game's success, Activision has debuted the Skylanders Boomcast - a new web series celebrating the game on the Skylanders YouTube channel. 
Zachary Gordon made a name for himself in Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Episodes will be host by Diary of a Wimpy Kid star Zachary Gordon, who says he is incredibly excited to be a part of the series.
"I'm so honored and excited to be a part of Skylanders Boomcast," Gordon said in an interview. "The fact that I get to bring Skylanders news to Portal Masters around the world is a dream job."

The first episode of the show aired on October 4, and kicks off a month of celebration centered around the newest game in the Skylanders franchise, Skylanders SWAP Force, which releases on October 13 in America, October 16 in Australia, and October 18 in Europe.
In addition to content about new games, the show will also feature gameplay tips, character spotlights, interviews with game developers and fan art.
