We have heard a huge amount of information about the new Warner Bros. and DC movie Suicide Squad, with a number of stories about what happened on the set of the film. While fans around the world are looking forward to seeing Jared Leto as The Joker in the film, it seems that his co-star Will Smith is looking forward to meeting Jared himself.
Will Smith plays Deadshot in the Suicide Squad movie and, while he and Jared Leto shared some scenes in the film, it seems that the two stars remained very much in character. Will claims that he never actually got to meet the real Jared Leto and he is looking forward to finally doing so.
Smith was a guest on the Beats 1 radio show, when he explained to them, "I've never actually met Jared Leto. We worked together for 6 months and we've never exchanged a word outside of 'Action!' and 'Cut!' We've never said 'Hello,' we've never said 'Good day.'"
He added, "I've only ever spoken to him as Deadshot and him as the Joker. I literally have not met him yet. So, the first time I see him will be 'Hey, Jared. What's up?' Not a single word exchanged off camera. He was all in on the Joker... I'm looking forward to meeting him."
As well as promoting the Suicide Squad movie, Will Smith has also recently revealed that he is making his big comeback to the music scene, releasing some new music for the first time in ten years.
Suicide Squad is set to hit the big screen on August 5, 2016 in both the US and the UK.
