British actor Tom Hiddleston plays the role of Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and he has become a bit of a fans favourite over the years, with many people eager to see more of him. While it is expected that we will definitely see Loki appearing in Thor: Ragnarok, as well as both of the Avengers: Infinity War movies, Tom has admitted that he has not actually heard from anybody at Marvel for quite a while.
Hiddleston was recently chatting about his future as Loki, when he explained, "You know, I genuinely do not know. I wish there was something I could tell you. I haven’t spoken to anyone at Marvel for about two years. That universe is expanding at such a rate, so…your guess is as good as mine."
While we were supposed to see Tom Hiddleston as Loki in Avengers: Age of Ultron, the scene was cut, so the last we saw of the character, he had taken over Asgard. So, with that in mind, what does the future hold for the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Well, it seems that Tom does not know much about that either.
Hiddleston added, "That’s all I know that he’s been doing [ruling Asgard]. I’m interested to see what’s happened in the time between. I like to believe that actually he runs Asgard pretty well. The trains run on time and he keeps the streets clean."
Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled to open on October 27, 2017 in the UK and November 3, 2017 in the US. Meanwhile, Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1 is due to land on April 27, 2018 in the UK and May 4, 2018 in the US, with Part 2 coming on April 26, 2019 in the UK and on May 3, 2019 in the US.
