Hollywood actor Vin Diesel has become renowned for being in such incredible shape all the time, so it was quite surprising recently, when pictures emerged of the fit star looking over weight and out of shape. While we have to admit that we were quick shocked by the images, some people have gone too far, trying to "body-shame" the star, which is just not on.
Vin Diesel has now spoken out about those pictures and, in particular, about those people who have decided to try to make him feel bad about himself. Vin says that he is happy that these trolls have decided to target him, rather than picking on someone who would not be able to cope with the criticism.
Diesel was chatting to the guys over at ABC News, when he explained to them, "Honestly I would rather it come to me than somebody else. I can take it... I don't care really, I'm not trying to be in super shape all the time. I'm trying to master my craft of making films. I do think it's wrong to body-shame."
He added, "There are trolls on the Internet that there are all kinds of atrocities they commit on the Internet (sic). I started working out when I was a teenager. I was a bouncer in New York City so I started working at New York nightclubs at 17 and because of that, I started training then."
As well as that, Vin Diesel also shared a much more recent picture of himself, showing how he is already back in fantastic shape and looking his best. Good work Vin!
