The rise of actor Travis Fimmel has been a very enjoyable one to watch and the actor has now become one of the most popular and sought after stars in Hollywood, landing plenty of new and exciting roles in some very interesting projects. Travis has become best known for playing the role of Ragnar Lothbrok in the hit television series Vikings but he is now on the verge of movie superstardom.

Travis Fimmel plays the role of Anduin Lothar in the movie Warcraft, which might not have been a critical success but has made enough money worldwide to warrant a sequel being made. However, before that, Travis has a new movie project lined up, after joining the cast of the upcoming film Lean on Pete, which boasts an impressive cast and an intriguing story line.
Lean on Pete has been described as, "It follows Charley as he embarks on a perilous journey in search of his long-lost aunt and a possible home. Charley’s quest carries him from a horse-racing track in Portland, through the sagebrush of the Oregon desert, to the city streets of Denver, his sole companion the stolen racehorse Lean on Pete."

As well as having Travis Fimmel on board for the movie, the Lean on Pete cast also includes Chloe Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, and Charlie Plummer (who will star in the lead role of Charley). Lean on Pete is being directed by Andrew Haigh, who also adapted the screenplay for the movie from the Willy Vlautin novel, with the movie currently filming and aiming for a 2017 release.
