It looks like the war of words between Taylor Swift and Kanye West is showing no signs of slowing down, as the two stars continue to have little pops at one another. It all started when Kanye West released the track Famous, which made a comment about him and Taylor having sex in the future, while claiming that it was he who made her famous.
The rapper then went on to claim that Taylor Swift was in on the whole idea, even going as far as to suggest that the idea came from the singer herself. However, her representatives have spoken out to deny the claims, insisting that Taylor even went as far as to reprimand the rapper about the lyrics. Now, the Queen of Country has used her success to finally have a sly dig at Kanye.
Taking to the stage to accept her Album of the Year award at the Grammys, Swift told the crowd, "As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I wanna say to all the young women out there that there are going to be people along the way who try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame," making a slight nod to Kanye's song."
She then went on to add, "If you just focus on the work and you don't let those people side track you, someday when you get where you're going, you'll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you for this moment."
It will be interesting to see whether Kanye West recognises that this is a dig at him by Taylor Swift, and how he will hit back in response.
