There was no real surprise when it was announced that Sylvester Stallone would be pushing ahead with his plans to make The Expendables 3. However, he does seem a bit over ambitious as to who he wants to cast in the movie.
Sylvester Stallone has been fairly successful so far, as he has confirmed that he has managed to sign up Nicolas Cage for the movie. Sylvester has now confirmed that he is hoping to add the likes of Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes and Mickey Rourke.
Stallone explained the situation to El Paris and his quote translates as, “We are preparing the film with the same passion and commitment as the previous two. We have confirmed Nicolas Cage, a master actor who gives a veneer intellectual group.”
He added, “Hopefully we can realize to Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes and Mickey Rourke. That is the great mission of the producer. We will continue with the same narrative scheme, the agility and the frenzy, which are inherent to the saga.”
The Expendables has been a very successful movie franchise so far and Sylvester Stallone hopes to keep making the movies for as long as they are wanted.
