Actress Meghan Markle has become a television fan favourite for her starring role as Rachel Zane in the dramatic television series "Suits" but she will soon be seen in a different role in the original television movie "When Sparks Fly" on the Hallmark Channel.

The beautiful actress recently spoke about her new role in the movie and compared it to the role that has made her one of the most in-demand actresses in the entertainment industry. As she explained during her interview her role in television show "Suits" is one of heavy drama and since the end of season three she has been filmed two movies, one that took place in London and Budapest while the other, "When Sparks Fly" was filmed in February in Vancouver.
Meghan Markle loves being able to show her extensive dramatic range as Rachel Zane for which she expressed immense gratitude but she realized that she wanted a 'break from the serious drama that comes with playing her "Suits" role.

As such in the Hallmark show "When Sparks Fly" she will be playing Chicago journalist Amy Peterson who returns home. During her time home she sees her ex-boyfriend Hank Lyons played by Christopher Jacot and is informed that he is engaged to her best friend, Sammie played by Kristina Pesic. When her friend Sammie learns that Amy is back in town she persuades her to help plan her wedding and that is when the fun truly begins.
The role is great for Meghan Markle because it provides her the opportunity to show fans, Hollywood filmmakers and entertainment insiders that she can 'lighten up' and play a fun role which shows her immense range as an actress who is capable of playing any role.
Meghan Markle has taken advantage of her break from "Suits" to show her range and the buzz around "When Sparks Fly" suggests that no one will be disappointed with the result.
