While we have loved watching the Marvel Cinematic Universe taking shape and coming together in such a great way, we have kind of had our fill with all of these superhero movies and the good guys always coming out on top. it is nice then, that we are actually finally going to get a villain team up movie, with the upcoming Warner Bros and DC project Suicide Squad, which is released next year.

We have already seen plenty of pictures from Suicide Squad, as well as the Suicide Squad trailer and we are now counting down the days until the movie finally hits the big screen. While Suicide Squad will not get near the huge box office hits, we have no doubt that it will become a very popular movie among comic book fans, as it is going to be that bit different to what we have become used to.

Director David Ayer has certainly made it clear what he hopes to get from the Suicide Squad movie, recently stating, "You know, all these movies are about defeating the evil alien robot from fucking Planet X before it destroys the world with its ticking clock. And who the fuck cares? But you do this story about struggle and isolation and people who have been shit on that suddenly get thrown this lifeline... that's not so bad. I like to think of this as the Comic Book Movie 2.0."

We cannot wait to see how the Suicide Squad movie is going to pan out on the big screen and how it is all going to fit in with the rest of the DC Extended Universe. Suicide Squad is set to hit the big screen on August 5, 2016 in both the US and the UK.
