Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have been targeted by the press for the last couple of years, but the attention's died down a little since their marriage. Saif was recently interviewed by Times of India, and he opened up about the tabloid attention on his relationship and marriage to Kareena.
When told that the public attention has lessened since their marriage, Saif replies, "Thank God. I think that was bound to happen. I feel relieved about that. Now, we all can get on with work. A person should be known for their work and not for their personal life. But people do have a lot of interest in actors and I don’t blame them."
He also adds that he thinks his work has gotten better, and that he considers himself one of the 'better actors' in Bollywood. He explains, "I feel more assured and confident about my ability. I think I can deliver what I am generally being asked to do. I feel I am one of the better actors in Bombay but I am humble about it. I am not arrogant. I am learning and I have a long way to go but I don’t feel lost anymore."
Both Saif and Kareena have managed to keep themselves out of the spotlight recently, especially when it comes to public events and parties. However, Saif has a bunch of movies that he has promotion for coming up, and Kareena has four films set for a 2013 release, so we can probably expect them back at the center of a press whirlwind within a couple of months.
