The acting career of Ryan Reynolds has certainly been an interesting one to date, with the actor seeming to have a number of lives in Hollywood. There have been quite a few occasions, when Ryan has seemed to have had his day, bringing us a string of poor movies, before then pulling himself back from the brink with an impressive movie or performance.
When it was announced that Warner Bros. and DC were making a Green Lantern movie, many fans were excited to see what they could come up with, although some were unsure about Ryan Reynolds in the role of Hal Jordan. There concerns were proven right, as the movie was a huge flop and Ryan was very poor in the film, but once again he has come back to form.
You would expect that being a key reason for such a poor Green Lantern film would mark the end of any future comic book movie career for Ryan Reynolds, but the actor has found himself with a huge fan following as Deadpool. The movie is just a few weeks away and there are high hopes that this could be one of the best comic book movies of the year.
So, how will Ryan Reynolds follow that up? Well, he is lined up to star alongside Samuel L Jackson and Gary Oldman in the planned movie The Hitman's Bodyguard, which is due to be directed by Jeff Wadlow, based on the screenplay from Tom O'Connor. When we can expect to see this movie get underway is anyone's guess but, with the cast involved, it could well be another success for Ryan Reynolds.
