There have been some people who have been critical of the British actor Rupert Grint, claiming that the talented young star has failed to live up to his potential since the Harry Potter movies came to an end. However, Rupert has been working very hard at his acting career and does have some very interesting and exciting movie projects due out over the next few years.
Next up for Rupert Grint is the new movie Moonwalkers, which the actor filmed last year and is now just waiting for the project to hit the big screen. Rupert has managed to mix it with some of the biggest and best acting talents in Hollywood over the years, and Moonwalkers is no different.
Moonwalkers has been officially described as "Johnny is a flailing band manager in '60s London, struggling to get a hippie-rock group off the ground in time to repay the seed money borrowed from a shark called 'The Ironmonger.' U.S. operative Kidman has been sent to London to hire Stanley Kubrick just in case something keeps the actual Apollo mission from landing. Mistaking Johnny for Kubrick's manager, Kidman makes the pitch to him. Desperate for that suitcase full of cash, Johnny enlists his hirsute roommate Leon to impersonate the director just long enough to make off with the money."
As well as starring Rupert Grint as Johnny, the Moonwalkers cast also stars Ron Perlman, as Kidman, as well as Robert Sheehan, as Leon, showing just what a strong lead cast the film really does have. Moonwalkers is the feature film directorial debut from Antoine Bardou-Jacquet, from a screenplay that has been developed by Dean Craig. The movie featured at the South by Southwest film festival earlier in the year, with the film still awaiting an official release date in the US and the UK. We cannot wait!
