Beautiful actress Portia de Rossi has been married to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres since 2008 and, despite a number of split rumours over the past few years, the couple are still very much together and very much in love. Portia has revealed how, when the two of them are out and about, it is Ellen who gets most of the attention from the fans.
De Rossi explained, "When I'm out with Ellen, fans come up to us and say, 'Oh, my God, Ellen, you're an angel.' And then they look at me and go, 'And you're horrible!' It's funny." Now that doesn't sound very nice.
And why would they accuse Portia de Rossi of being horrible? Because of the role she plays in Scandal, of course. Portia has been playing the role of the manipulative White House Chief of Staff, Elizabeth North, a role which she clearly loves playing.
De Rossi added, "I was a fan for years! I get to work in the Oval and have scenes with Fitz [Tony Goldwyn]. He yells at me, and I'm like, 'It's pretty darn cool as a fan - and an actress.'" Sounds like she is having a lot of fun on the show.
Fans of Portia de Rossi and Scandal can continue to see the actress in the role of Elizabeth North, when Scandal season five continues to air on ABC on Thursday evenings at 9/8c. As for Ellen Degeneres, she can be seen on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on NBC.
