Following the news of the recent attacks in Paris, people all over the world have been sending their thoughts and prayers to the city, with many people also taking to their social media accounts to change their profile picture to have a French flag over it. While this seems like a very respectful thing to many, it seems that Mia Khalifa is not so impressed with the words of support or the changing of the profile pictures.
Over the past few days, Mia Khalifa has taken to her official Twitter account, to post a string of tweets regarding the incident and, more to the point, to have a dig at the people who have been showing their support for Paris. Mia has claimed that people will only be interested for a few minutes and will not actually do anything note worthy to help, among other little digs about people's views on what has happened.
This has led to a few fans hitting back at Mia Khalifa, with one person stating, "I'm not sure who Mia thinks she is that her opinion matters over anyone elses. We all have the right to show or support for Paris, no matter how big or small the gesture." Meanwhile, another disgruntled person added, "Not sure what Mia was trying to achieve by having a go at us for sending our prayers to Paris. Does she have no heart?"
With all that said, Mia Khalifa is just making a point that many other people have also been saying. Everybody has different views and different opinions. Attacking one another about it over the internet is not exactly helping anyone and it would be nice to see people actually getting along online for once.
