Mariah Carey is a true professional and one of the superstars of singing and she proved it once again with the last performance of her World Tour which took place outdoors at the Sirromet Winery just north of the Gold Coast at Mt. Cotton.
The Daily Telegraph noted that anyone who did not go missed out on an exceptional performance as she left fans amazed with her voice and appearance. She wore a silver fingerless glove on one hand (paying homage to Michael Jackson perhaps?) and black see-through gown in which she looked gorgeous and her appearance ensured that every person in the audience was fixated on her.
However, as beautiful as she looked that arguably paled in comparison to her incredible voice which put a giant 'sock' in the mouth of her critics as she "thrilled the 6000 fans at the outdoor "A Day On The Green" concert who endured the incredible heat to listen to arguably one of the greatest singers in music history.
The concert was the last stop on her Australian tour and she left fans with a great memory with her stage presence, humour and voice. People can criticize her reported 'diva' ways and speculate about all the reasons for the reported ending of her marriage to American entertainment personality Nick Cannon but one thing that cannot be questioned is her voice which can put a smile on anyone's face and her professionalism.
She is similar to a professional athlete in that once she steps onto the stage to perform she leaves all the criticism and problems behind and is focused on making the evening enjoyable for all with no thoughts about her problems and that is precisely what she did for those who had the privilege of listening to her at the Sirromet Winery.
People may criticize and be envious of Mariah Carey for many things but one thing they will not be able to complain about is watching her perform live or listening to her music because as she showed in Australia, it is unlikely that there is anyone who sounds better in concert than the incredibly talented Mariah Carey.
