It was not too long ago that One Direction were the biggest boyband on the face of the Earth, before they decided to split up and go their own separate ways. Louis Tomlinson has since been working on his own solo music and Louis has admitted that it is actually easier being on his own than in One Direction.
Tomlinson shared, "It's easier, it's easier because from a writing perspective or even a marketing perspective or anything like that. We'd all have to be on the same page which takes a bit of working out before we get there. So it's nice to be kind of in control of my destiny completely and there's more pressure obviously but again it makes me feel like I can be open."
As well as talking having the freedom to make the music that he wants to make himself, Louis Tomlinson also went on to talk about what he is hoping to achieve with his new album. Louis says that he wants to try to do something a little bit different, as he feels that the pop music industry has started to become a little bit samey.
Tomlinson added, "It's for me important across my lyrics very matter of fact, very honest, vulnerable cause actually I don't think there's enough of that in pop. Everybody writes about these fairy tale scenarios when in reality I think life's pretty interesting."
We have already been impressed with what we have been given from the solo career of Louis Tomlinson and we cannot wait to hear more from him. With that said, we are also praying that a One Direction reunion will happen sooner rather than later.
