Love it or hate it, there is no denying that the animated movie Frozen is one of the biggest and best movies to ever hit the big screen and, following the huge amount of success the film brought, it was no surprise when it was confirmed that a sequel would get made. Now, actress Kristen Bell has been talking about Frozen 2, teasing just what is happening with the progress on the project.

Bell explained to Collider, "I thought we were about to start recording, but I was mistaken. So, we haven’t begun yet. They’re putting the finishing touches on the script. We record, as those characters, often. At the change of season at the parks, whether it’s for Disneyland, Epcot, or when Japan opens, we will record new voices for our characters, but we actually haven’t started recording for the second Frozen."
As well as talking about where they are with the script for Frozen 2, Kristen Bell also went on to talk about what other Frozen projects they have going on at the moment, since there is so much more than just the new movie. According to Kristen, fans of the Frozen franchise have a very exciting Christmas special to look forward in the future.

Bell added, "What we have been working on is an Olaf Christmas special that we’re doing for next year. We’ve recorded that already, which has been a lot of fun to work on. There’s new music, as well. Yeah, there are new songs."
There is no word of when we can expect to see Frozen 2 hitting the big screen but we will continue to keep you posted with its progress.
