When we think about the celebrities around the world, we can sometimes put them up high on a pedestal and think of them as being something more than human, when the actual fact of the matter is that they are just like me and you. There are stars around the world who have the same hobbies as some of us, while there are also others who have the same problems and issues.
Actress Kristen Bell is a beautiful and talented star who comes across as one of the nicest people who you could ever meet, and it seems that there is a reason for the way she acts. Kristen has revealed how she has an unhealthy need for everyone to like her and finds it difficult to cope if she finds out that somebody does not like, whatever the reason may be.
Bell explained, "I'm extremely co-dependent. I shatter a little bit when I think people don't like me. That's part of why I lead with kindness and I compensate by being very bubbly all the time because it really hurts my feelings when I know I'm not liked. And I know that's not very healthy and I fight it all the time."
Fortunately, Kristen Bell has been aware of her problems for many years now and has been doing everything that she can think of in her battle against it. Kristen has confirmed that she takes medication to help her with her issues and she has spoken out against the stigma that is attached to taking anti-depressants.
She added, "If you do decide to go on a prescription to help yourself, understand that the world wants to shame you for that, but in the medical community, you would never deny a diabetic his insulin. Ever. But for some reason, when someone needs a serotonin inhibitor, they're immediately crazy or something."
Well said, Kristen!
