We have all been caught up in the improvements and the developments in technology in recent years, with technology pretty much taking over our whole entire lives, with social media in particular becoming a huge part of the way we now live our life. It is amazing to see people out and about together and not even talking, since they are both too busy looking at their phones, which really is a shame.
Well, it seems that there is one person who is making sure that her family still communicate in the traditional way, which is quite surprising since she is a pretty big fan of social media. Kourtney Kardashian has millions of fans and followers on her different social media accounts, but Kourtney has now admitted that she has decided to ban technology when on vacation, as she wants her family to actually talk.
Kardashian said, "'I think it's so important to have conversations and really listen to our kids and friends when they're speaking -- especially when we're having a meal. I love Instagram and Twitter and Snapchat, but when I'm on vacation, I try to unplug and not be online intermittently during the day. Instead, I'll pick a specific time and try to do all my emails and check social all at once."
It is definitely a good step in the right direction but we simply cannot help but feel that things are only going to continue to get worse as technology continues to grow and develop. While we do have to admit that we love what we can do with technology these days, we do also miss that personal touch and that communication with other human beings.
