We have had so many different collaborations on the music scene over the years and there will no doubt be plenty more coming our way in the future, as stars love to use other stars in order to make bigger hits. While some of these collaborations do prove hugely successful, there have been some that have flopped, showing that you need to make sure you work with the right person.
Last Christmas, we saw a new music collaboration between Katy Perry and Duke Dumont, as the two stars worked together on a Christmas campaign for H&M. Unfortunately for the two of them, the song was never actually released as a single, so Duke has admitted that he would love to get back in the studio and work with Katy again on a new track.
Dumont was chatting to The Daily Star, when he explained, "With Katy the job was to do a track for the campaign. I spent a week in the studio working on that. But it never got released as a single.
I 100 per cent would love to get back in the studio with her for a single. I think we could switch things up a little more for the next record. Who knows what we could do?
It will be interesting to see whether Katy Perry agrees with Duke Dumont and if the two of them can get in the studio and bring us some new music in the near future. Katy has not released any new music since 2014 so it is long over due and fans are eager to see her getting back in the studio.
