There are a number of different reasons that a Hollywood star agrees to take on a certain acting role, whether it is because they want the pay-day, they like the script, or they want to work with the people already attached to the project. Well, while those are all perfectly good reasons to agree to star in any movie, actress Jessica Chastain likes to do something a little bit different.
Jessica Chastain has been working in Hollywood for a long time now, playing some very interesting characters along the way, in some very impressive movies. Now, Jessica, who can currently be seen in the movie The Martian, has revealed that she likes to choose acting roles that will see her playing a character who will inspire young girls watching the movie.
Chastain was speaking to Huffington Post, when she said, "I have to be careful when I'm choosing roles. I want little girls to watch 'The Martian' and say, 'I want to be the commander of a mission to Mars,' 'I want to be in this movie,' and [to see] that actually, it's OK -- you can have these desires to be a writer and fall in love and do all this, and you can actually save yourself."
Not only can you currently see Jessica Chastain in the hit movie The Martian, but she can also be seen in the new Guillermo del Toro movie Crimson Peak, which was released at the weekend. Jessica has become a very in demand star and has a whole host of new movies coming our way over the next few years.
