Jennifer Love Hewitt is leaving the hit show Criminal Minds after one season for motherhood as the star is pregnant with her second child and wants to be able to spend time with her baby when it is born which basically precludes a return to "Criminal Minds" as the show resumes filming in July 2015 which not provide her enough time. 
Her situation is very interesting because her character is not being killed off but instead the story is being written as a pregnant mother taking time off so she will be able to spend time with her child and family, a scenario which leaves the door 'wide open' for a return to the show (E! Some fans of this actress are hopeful that if the show were to remain on television for two more seasons it is very possible that the scenario would be ideal for a return to the show by Jennifer Love Hewitt as a past agent who after having her child and getting the personal aspect of her life 'sorted' is ready for a return to work.
While some fans of the show will likely miss her their loss will be the gain of some entertainment magazines, baby product companies and publications, maternity clothing companies and big-screen filmmakers who will likely work to become very good friends with her agents as she is still considered an in-demand endorser and actress who entertainment fans adore as shown by the love they direct toward her on social media and her positive impact on the television show "Criminal Minds".
