It looks like we are going to be getting a number of new big screen adaptations of different classic Manga projects in the course of the next few years, with many Manga fans very interested to see what Hollywood does with these much-loved projects. One of the Manga projects that we are looking forward to seeing adapted for the big screen, is the upcoming new movie Alita: Battle Angel, which is already making positive moves.
Production on Alita: Battle Angel is already underway and, with James Cameron on writing duties and producing the movie, along with Robert Rodriguez directing the film, there really is a lot of buzz surround what we can hope to see from Alita: Battle Angel. As well as a strong team behind the camera, Alita: Battle Angel already has a strong team in front of it, with the cast getting bigger and better all the time.
We already knew that we were going to get to see the very beautiful Eiza Gonzalez starring in Alita: Battle Angel, along with the very talented Christoph Waltz, and it has now been announced that we are also going to get to see Jennifer Connelly joining this very impressive cast.
As well as getting to see Jennifer Connelly joining the exciting cast of Christoph Waltz and Eiza Gonzalez, the movie is also going to star the fantastic Rosa Salazar in the titular role of Alita. We cannot wait to see whether this very exciting team can make a success of Alita: Battle Angel, with the movie aiming to hit the big screen on July 20, 2018 in both the US and the UK.
