There are many different types of actors in Hollywood and, while there are a lot of stars who love to stick to the script and not veer too far from it at all, there are others who love to have the freedom to improvise and go with the flow and change things up a bit. There is no right or wrong way of doing things and different directors also like different techniques, so it really is interesting to see how these different stars work.

Hollywood veteran Jeff Goldblum has been working in the acting industry for many years now and he takes on the role of the Grandmaster in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, making his debut in the upcoming movie Thor: Ragnarok. Jeff has now been talking about what it was like on the set of the movie, revealing that director Taika Waititi urged the actor to improvise his scenes, which he absolutely loved.
Goldblum shared, "'[It was] fantastic. This is a funny movie, a really funny movie. Taika is funny. He's great. We improvised a lot of the movie. For a movie like this, I have done movies before where I have improvised and I love to improv, because it's a big, big epic kind of movie, but those people over in Marvel, they know what they are doing."

He added, "They can make a big movie like this but trust Taika to give it an independent feeling. Taika said we are going to improvise and have fun. When we got to the set and I made things up and he made things up. He would do something like look at the character and say this and talk about this. I trust them and they trusted us."
Thor: Ragnarok is set to hit the big screen on October 24 in the UK and on November 3 in the US.
