The hit HBO fantasy drama series Game of Thrones has become one of the biggest shows to ever hit our television screens and fans of the show are always eager to learn anything they can about the upcoming new season. We have already heard about plenty of new names joining the cast of Game of Thrones for its sixth season and now we know a little bit more about one of these new faces.

Veteran actor Ian McShane has played some fantastic roles over the years, appearing in some of the biggest and best television shows and movies along the way, with very little known about his upcoming role in Game of Thrones season six. Well, now Ian has opened up about his role in the series and, while it appears that it is not going to be a big role, it does still sound very important.
McShane was chatting about his role with Pop Goes the News, when he revealed to them, "It's a one-off episode, that's why I did it. I am responsible for bringing somebody back that you think you’re never going to see again. I’ll leave it at that."

We already know that we are going to see Kit Harington returning as Jon Snow in Game of Thrones season six, so could it be this character that he is talking about resurrecting? We guess we will just have to wait and see!
Game of Thrones season six is set to hit HBO in the Spring of 2016.
