We have been following the career of Vanessa Hudgens for many years now and, while we have become big fans of her talents, we have to admit that we have been a little disappointed by her lack of activity on the acting scene in recent years. While Vanessa has clearly been doing acting recently, it has been on the stage and not on the big screen, which is where we like to see her most.
Vanessa Hudgens has been showing her acting talented on Broadway in the production of Gigi but, while the actress has clearly enjoyed every minute of her time on the production, it has unfortunately been cancelled. So, with that in mind, what sort of an impact will the cancellation of Gigi have on the acting career of Vanessa Hudgens?
Well, we are hoping that, now Vanessa Hudgens has got her Broadway itch, scratched, she will now return to doing more movie work and we are sure that she will not be short of offers in the near future. Before then though, we already have plenty of projects to look forward to, which will see Vanessa back on both the big screen and the small screen.
Vanessa Hudgens will play the role of Rizzo in the TV special of Grease: Live, which is set to air on Fox on January 31, 2016. As well as that, Vanessa will appear in the movie Kitchen Sink, which will open on September 4 in the US and November 6 in the UK. Meanwhile, Hudgens also lends her voice to a character in the animated movie The Great Migration, which is awaiting an official release date.
So, while Vanessa Hudgens will no doubt be very disappointed about the cancellation of Gigi, her acting career still looks in good shape and we look forward to seeing what new projects she signs up to in the coming years. Good luck Ness!
