While there are a lot of people talking about how the Marvel Cinematic Universe is dominating on the big screen, they are also beginning to make more of a mark on the small screen, with a number of new television projects being released over the coming years. One such Marvel series that is coming to the small screen, is the Agent Carter series, which we are very much looking forward to.
With so many stars in the acting industry wanting to get involved with the Marvel Universe, it is no surprise that Agent Carter has a lot of impressive names involved. One such name is that of actress Lyndsy Fonseca, who has taken to her official Twitter account to share her look from the series, along with the caption, "On set of @AgentCarterTV and my friends at @mophie just sent me the new powerstation plus! #mophie".
For those of you who are not full aware of the plot of the show, Agent Carter will focus on the life of Peggy Carter as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent during World War II, following the suspected death of Steve Rogers aka Captain America. Lyndsy Fonseca will appear in the new television series in the role of Angie Martinelli, who is an aspiring actress and a close friend of Peggy Carter.
Agent Carter will star actress Hayley Atwell in her familiar role as Peggy Carter, while the rest of the cast will see Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj as Agent Daniel Sousa, Shea Whigham as Roger Dooley, Kyle Bornheimer as Ray Krzeminski, Costa Ronin as Anton Vanko, Bridget Regan as Dottie, and Meagen Fay in an undisclosed role.
Agent Carter is scheduled to premiere on ABC on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Check out a preview of Agent Carter, below.
