British actor Dominic Cooper will take on the role of James Bond creator Ian Fleming in a new four-part series, which will air on Sky Atlantic next year. Dominic has now opened up about the upcoming project, admitting that there are certain aspects of the series that they decided to sex up a little.
Cooper explained to The Times, "There's what he says he did, there's what his biographers say he did, and then there's what we say he did. Everything is based on something real, but we have sexed it up at times."
He added, "If you look at other versions of the biography, he is deskbound, but that doesn't make great drama. He didn't have any fisticuffs with Nazis, but it felt like it would be better if he did."
As well starring Dominic Cooper as Ian Fleming, the four-part series will also see actress Lara Pulver in the role of his wife Ann. The show will official be titled Fleming and is set to premiere on Sky Atlantic in February 2014.
