She played the lead role in the movie "Carrie", a remake of the 1976 horror film and she was so convincing in the 2013 adaptation of Stephen King's legendary novel that it was her name that was announced as the winning performance.
The young actress has become renowned for her ability to play 'dark', conflicted characters in films and she proved in this film that she enjoys the challenge of these characters which make her 'stretch' as an actress and feel things that she has never felt before in her life because her characters are nothing like her. She admits that she comes from a great family and her mother is exceptionally supportive so her playing a role such as "Carrie" really helps bring out the creative juices in her acting.
