English singer Cheryl Cole was once a judge on the hit television series The X Factor, before joining Simon Cowell in the US for The X Factor USA. However, Cheryl was fired from the US version, leading to her falling out with Simon. Cheryl Cole has now opened up about being on the show and her friendship with Simon Cowell.
Cole told InStyle magazine, "The last X Factor series I did was too hard for me. I wasn’t right in my mind enough to give it my everything and be focused. And I wasn’t strong enough mentally. I’ve seen Simon since. Like, we’re friends again. But, I don’t talk about flagging things to him. He’d have a meltdown.
Cheryl also spoke about turning 30, adding, "When I look at the 21-year-old me, I do not want to be that person. I was young and naïve. I’m a hell of a lot wiser, a hell of a lot stronger, I’m just happier with me now. It’s weird but I’m not scared of it."
Cheryl Cole also went on to talk about the possibility of their being another Girls Aloud reunion in te future, stating that, while some of the ever girls would never say never, she is willing to admit that Girls Aloud have split for good and forever.
