Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent has played the role of Sophie Webster for almost a decade now, so it is not surprising that she is close to a lot of her co-stars on the show. One such co-star is Julie Hesmondhalgh, who is quitting her role as Hayley Cropper after 16 years, and Brooke has admitted that she, and the viewers, will really miss the character.

Brooke Vincent will miss her co-stars
Vincent explained, “I think the cast are going to miss Julie. But the viewers are really going to notice the difference as well. She fills a massive part of the Street and it won’t be the same without her. I know I’ll be sad to see her go. She’s just been amazing to work with.”
And things have not stopped there either, as Michelle Keegan, who plays Tina McIntyre on Coronation Street, is also leaving the show, much to the upset of Brooke, “Michelle is my sidekick and I’m a bit nervous about her going too. I don’t know who I’ll be sharing a dressing room with next," added Vincent.

Michelle Keegan is leaving the soap
Julie Hesmondhalgh will leave Coronation Street this Christmas, when her character Hayley Cropper is killed off. Meanwhile, Michelle Keegan will leave the soap next year, although it is unlikely that her character will be killed off but will instead leave the street, keeping the door open to a possible return in the future.
