The career of Ben Affleck has certainly been an interesting one over the years, with there once being a time when he had become a bit of a laughing stock, with a string of terrible movies to his name. However, Ben has managed to turn that around and now plays one of the most iconic characters to ever grace the big screen, taking on the role of Bruce Wayne aka Batman.
With Ben Affleck having to sign a multi-picture deal to play Batman, it means that he is going to have to sacrifice some of the other projects he has been attached to. One such movie looks like it could be Strangers, which he has been attached to since early 2015 but now looks unlikely to have to time to work on. As well as starring in Strangers, Ben was tipped to write the script for the film, but it is hard to see where he is going to have the time.
When it comes to Batman, as well as starring in both of the Justice League movies, Ben Affleck is also going to have to star in his very own standalone Batman film, which he is also in line to direct. Batman is going to take up most of Ben's time over the next few years, so we would not be surprised to see him exit the Strangers project.
As some of you will already know, Strangers is based on the novel by Patricia Highsmith, with David Fincher attached to direct the project. With Ben Affleck expected to exit the film, a new actor will need to be brought in and it will be interesting to see what this will mean for Strangers and just how long it will be before the project finally begins to make progress.
