When Ben Affleck was first confirmed as the latest actor to take on the role of Bruce Wayne aka Batman, there were many comic book fans around the world who were disappointed with the casting. Following his performance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Ben managed to win over a lot of his doubters, although there was the issue with fans being disappointed with what the writers and director did to the character.
We are now all waiting for the Justice League movie to hit the big screen, so that we can see how Batman has changed and how the writers have reacted to what the fans and critics said about the character. Ben Affleck has also been talking about reprising the role of Bruce Wayne and Batman, giving his views on how the characters is changing and what we can expect from his relationship with the rest of the Justice League.
Affleck explained, "In Batman v Superman, he was at the end of his rope. But in Justice League he’s finding hope again. He has to open up and play well with others. He knows he needs them. He’s sort of the ultimate loner, but he’s really trying to make it work and develop a good relationship with all of them. He might be a mentor to The Flash."
As well as Ben Affleck as Batman, the rest of the Justice League will feature Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg, while Henry Cavill will also return as Superman. Justice League to preparing to hit theatres on November 17 in both the UK and the US.
