It is true that you cannot please everybody all the time and that is certainly the case for the June 2013 cover of Vogue Spain. The issue has Polish model Anja Rubik on the cover and the picture seems to have split fans of the model and the publication, with some hating it, while others adore it.
In fairness, the cover image is reminiscent of a vintage Richard Avedon image of Lauren Hutton, as pointed out by fans of the publication. Other fans found the picture confusing, while there were those who thought that Anja Rubik looked simply divine.
One disgruntled fan moaned, "What is wrong with Vogue Spain at the moment, they just can't seem to get it right. If the outfit that Anja is wearing is not bad enough, then it is the model herself, who looks dumb and confused instead of sultry and sexy."
However, a much more pleased fan said, "I can't see what the issue is with the Anja Rubik cover. Not only is she a stunning model but Giampaolo Sgura never fails to hit the mark with his shoots. Stop the hating people!"
