Former Charmed actress Alyssa Milano has been in the entertainment industry since coming on the scene as the child star of Who's the Boss. Alyssa has been around fellow female stars for years now but she says that she has never really worked on female friendships, that was until she gave birth to her daughter Milo.
Milano explained, "As soon as I had my child (Milo, who will be 2 in August) and he had his first round of vaccinations and I could get into Mommy and Me classes, I started going. It wasn’t for the baby. It was for me. I had a sense of community. I wanted to be with other women who were experiencing and dealing with the same things I was going through.”
She then admitted that she does not regret not working on her female friendships before then. “I never didn’t like women, but I don’t think young women are kind to each other. I don’t think that’s something I missed out on at all."
Alyssa Milano stars with Rochelle Aytes, Jes Macallan and Shannyn Sossamon in the new ABC darma thriller Mistresses, which airs on Monday nights. The next episode of Mistresses will air on ABC on Monday, June 3.
