British beauty Alice Eve has enjoyed a long and successful career in Hollywood, landing some very exciting roles in some very big movie projects indeed. However, despite the amount of success she has already enjoyed, there is something that is still missing from the CV of Alice Eve. A role in a Marvel movie.
It was way back in 2010, that it was revealed that Alice Eve had rejected the role as Emma Frost in X-Men: First Class, before she then went on to battle it out with Haley Atwell for the role as Peggy Carter in Captain America: The First Avenger. Now, Alice has opened up about these close calls, admitting she would still love to land a role in a Marvel movie.
Eve explained, "You know I’m a huge fan of the Marvel movies. They obviously are hugely important in our society right now and the ability to kind of innovate cinema has been amazing. I think everyone into them should be grateful for them for reviving such an interest in it."
She then went on to add, "It’s like a cult following on a massive scale now with these movies. So yeah, I’m a huge fan of theirs and I think Kevin [Feige] is an incredibly talented man who has turned this thing around. So, yeah if the thing was right, I’d love to talk to them."
With Marvel planning on adding a number of female comic book characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we could well see Alice Eve in a Marvel project in the near future.
